Hello and Happy Friday, everyone!

Welcome to The Ton’s 6th Anniversary Release Blog Hop!!! The Ton is turning six ! YAY ! Huge congratulations! Here’s to many more years of creative crafting with The Ton!

For this special release Effie has designed seven new stamps with coordinating dies and four standalone die sets. Along with unique grouped layering floral, foliage and sentiment stamps there is also one outline floral stamp set, which I love ❀️ ! Check out the full reveal on The Ton blog!

All the items are now available in The Ton Shop!

I have four cards to share with you. So without further ado, let’s get started!

The first card is featuring the Wild Blooms set.

I started off by stamping the flowers and leaves from the set in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake ink to do no line coloring. I colored them all using Karin brush markers and cut them using the coordinating die.

To create the background I first did soft ink blending in Peach Blossom, Hollywood Star, Lemon Drop and Soft Garden on a white cardstock panel and cut it using the Quilted coverplate A2 die.

The Quilted coverplate dies for A2 and slimline sized cards are great to add an elegant touch to your background. You’ll see me using them many times πŸ™‚ ! The tiny holes of the Quilted coverplate A2 die are heart-shaped πŸ’—! They are so lovely!

wb-2-wm-2

I mounted the background panel flat on a white cardbase and foam mounted the scalloped frame which was cut using the Scalloped Nested A2 die and a Rectangle A2 Nested die. I then arranged the flowers and leaves as shown in the picture. The sentiment is from Ditsy Bits stamp set from this release. I colored a scrap piece of watercolor paper in the same colors I used for the flowers and white heat embossed the sentiment on it.

I finished off the card with some sequins from Kiwi Smoothie Couture Mix and Glass Slippers.

My next card in teal and pink is featuring the Ditsy Bits and Fancy Foliage grouped layering stamp sets. The sentiment is from Ribbon Affirmations set.

I started by stamping the Ditsy Bits and Fancy Foliage images. The pink flowers were stamped in Hollywood Star and Red Sangria hybrid ink and the leaves in Caribbean Turquoise, Ocean Teal and Bright Fern. After stamping I cut them all out using the coordinating dies.

I chose a teal cardstock for my background. I blended a white pigment ink on the border of the panel to make the area brighter and added Hot Tourmaline onto the center of the panel.

I placed the die cut florals and leaves along the perimeter of the panel as shown in the picture, secured them with a piece of PressN’ Seal, added foam tapes on the back and adhered the arrangement on the background panel. After I cut off the excess of the images I foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase.

I splattered white opaque ink all over the card and let it dry.

The Ribbon Affirmations set was stamped in Bright Emerald and True Navy. There is a coordinating die for this grouped layering stamp set. I fussy cut the sentiment though as it didn’t arrive in time. I added the sentiment with double layered foam tape to give some more dimension to it. The white heat embossed small sentiment is also from Ribbon Affirmations set. I added some Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots to finish off.

To make the next card I used the outline image of Eucalyptus set and the super fun Balloon Alphas stamp set.

eu-3-wm

First I gold heat embossed the outline image of Eucalyptus set on some watercolor paper and colored them in rainbow using Color Burst powders. After they were dried I cut them all using the coordinating die and set them aside.

The Balloon Alphas were stamped also in rainbow colors and cut using the coordinating die.

The colors I used are listed below

I made a rainbow background for the eucalyptus leaves by ink blending a white panel in Hollywood Star, Coralline Hybrid, Lemon Drop, Soft Garden, Cali Blue, Azurite and Plum Wine. I cut the background panel using the Quilted Coverplate A2 die.

I added the rainbow leaves and letters to the card using foam tape. Some gold thread was used as the strings for the balloons. I added a little die cut butterfly from my stash. The white heat embossed “BIRTHDAY” was from Ribbons General stamp set. I finished off the card with a few Glass Slippers Round Confetti.

My last card for today is a slimline card which is featuring the Radiant Roses Layered dies and Quilted Coverplate slimline die. The Radiant Roses Layered die set is one of my favorites from this release! They are so beautifully designed!

rrld-3-wm

I cut the layers of the roses from the Radiant Roses Layered dies using shimmer cardstock, bright silver and dark gray glitter card stock. The layers of the leaves were cut from shimmer and silver cardstock. I assembled all the elements together and set them aside.

To create a dark ombre background in navy and purple I colored a watercolor paper panel using Gansai Tambi watercolor. After the panel was dry I cut it using the Quilted Coverplate slimline die. I white heat embossed the sentiment from Fancy Foliage stamp set directly on the background panel and foam mounted it on a white slimline cardbase.

The rose arrangement was then added to the card. I adhered the leaves first and added the roses using foam tape.

I scattered a few Glass Slippers sequins and the card was done!
