Hello everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the weekend!

I’m popping in with a new card I made for the Inspired By Challenge #2 on Facebook Pinkfresh Studio Fan Group! This is a monthly challenge that Pinkfresh Studio is hosting this year. There is a card and a layout from our DT for your inspiration! You can use the projects as a sketch, you can lift/case them, or use just the colors or theme. Totally up to you – the sky is the limit! This month’s projects are created by Karlla Dauer and Dilay Nacar!

I made a shaped shaker card using Rustic Floral Wreath layering stencil and die set and Intricate Mandala die. I took the colors from Dilay’s gorgeous project! I used the same ink colors she used and kept the card mostly in white!

To begin I die cut four Rustic Floral Wreaths and two Intricate Mandalas from white cardstock. The Rustic Floral Wreath was then stenciled on one of the die cuts. I stenciled the flowers in Bubble Gum and added a bit of Slumber on the tip of petals like Dilay did on her card. The second layer of the flowers was stenciled in Raspberry Bliss. The leaves were stenciled in Key Lime and Olive and the wreath part and the center of the flowers in Stargazer. For some sparkle I stenciled the second layer of the flowers again with a clear glitter paste and let it dry. I adhered a piece of clear acetate on the back of the stenciled Rustic Floral Wreath and layered the other two die cut pieces.

I cut a small circle from the center of the die cut Intricate Mandalas. I also cut a circle frame from some white fun foam using two circle dies from Diagonal Stitched Circles die set and adhered the frames I cut from Intricate Mandalas on it.

I cut the outer die of the Intricate Mandala two times and made a shaped cardbase. I adhered the center circle piece of the Intricate Mandala on the center of the cardbase and added the Mandala frame with the fun foam onto the card. I adhered some pink and clear Crystals on the center part of the Mandala and added some Crystals as shaker elements into the well and adhered the top part of the shaker with the Rustic Floral Wreath on the Mandala frame. I used some dark navy Jewels for the center of the flowers.

The sentiment was cut using the Thin Words Everyday Script die from a piece of cardstock on which I ink blended Sparkling Rose and Bubble Gum in an ombre fashion.
