I have made four cards using some of the new goodies from this release! Today I want to show you three cards from them and tomorrow one more card with a matching envelope 🙂 ! You can have some sneak peeks of the items which are debuting tomorrow!
All items are available tomorrow as preorder on The Ton Shop!
The shipping begins on Sep. 22!
The first two cards are showcasing the Fancy Folk Tree Coverplate die set. I used Styled Chrismas Sentiments and Ribbons Holiday set for the sentiment and decorated them with no line watercolored festive elements from Holiday Floral Coloring Bits set. The Fancy Folk Tree Coverplate die set has two layers of coverplate die and one extra die for the tree.
I started by making watercolor washed green ombre panel. I cut the green panel and one white panel using both layers of the Fancy Folk Tree Coverplate die set. I then adhered the negative part of the panel on the cardbase, the green one on a white cardbase and the white die cut piece on a green cardbase. Next I foam mounted the trees switched in their colors as shown in the picture. I inlaid the small pieces of the die cut tree.
The sentiment for this card is from Styled Christmas Sentiments set which is debuting tomorrow. It is a one piece stamp with five large holiday sentiments in a cute and festive font. The coordinating die cuts them all in one pass. I gold heat embossed the sentiment and cut them. To add a bit more of the Christmas feeling I decorated the sentiment with a holly branch from the Holiday Floral Coloring Bits stamp set which I stamped in Soft Cream and watercolored in no-line coloring style. I finished off the card with some Medallion Gold sequins and one small white star on the tree.
This is the other version of the card in the same layout.
For this card I used the Ribbons Holiday stamp set. It is a Grouped Layering stamp set with a one piece die. You can stamp the sentiment in ribbon-like font in two colors. I stamped it in Basil Mojito and the second layer was heat embossed in gold. Here also I decorated the tree with a poinsettia from the Holiday Floral Coloring Bits set. This set includes lots of cute outline images of poinsettias, holly branches and berries. This set will be introduced tomorrow!
Next card for today is featuring the Confetti Shapes Circle set. I made them into shiny red baubles.
I white heat embossed three circles on a white panel. I made three negative circle masks and ink blended the baubles in Lipstick Red and Wine. The tops of the baubles were cut from some gold mirror cardstock and I drew the strings with a gold gel pen. To make the baubles you can use the coordinating die set ! It has dies for the top and strings of the baubles !
I decorated the baubles with the gold heat embossed poinsettias and holly branches from the Holiday Floral Coloring Bits set. The sentiment is from Ribbons Holiday set which I stamped and cut for the second card! “CHRISTMAS” is also from the Ribbons Holiday stamp set. I stamped it in Lipstick Red. I finished off the card with two tiny red gems on Holly branches.
