Today you’ll see Pleasing Poinsettias, Holiday Floral Coloring Bits, Poinsettia Bouquet, Jolly Border, Styled Christmas Sentiments, Merry Folk sentiments, and Festive Folk Coverplate die. There are coordinating die sets for the floral stamps and the Styled Christmas Sentiments set. The Merry Folk Sentiments set fits perfectly to the Festive Folk Coverplate die!

I have a card showcasing the Festive Folk Coverplate die, Holiday Floral Coloring Bits and Mini Sprigs die. The Festive Folk Coverplate die is designed for a side fold card. It cuts delicate pattern on top and bottom of a A2 panel and let the middle part blank for your sentiment. The small holiday elements on both sides are so cute. Actually you need only a large sentiment to make a card using this die. The Merry Folk Sentiments from this release coordinates with this die! I think this is a great die to make quick holiday cards.
I also used the Poinsettia Mail stamp set from this release to make a matching envelope.
First I die cut a white panel using the Festive Folk Coverplate die and adhered it on a soft pink cardbase. I then ink blended the cut out reindeers in Warm Hazelnut and holly leaves in Bright Emerald and then added them onto their places using foam tape.
I gold heat embossed the Holiday Floral Coloring Bits and watercolored them in pink and turquoise. This stamp set is one piece stamp with lots of small holiday florals and greenery and the coordinating die cuts them all in one pass!
I arranged the poinsettias on the diagonal corners of the card. I cut some Mini Sprigs in white and added it to the poinsettia clusters. The sentiment is from This Year set. I gold heat embossed it and cut it using the coordinating die. To add some more golden accents I used some Madallion Gold sequins.
And this is the matching envelope featuring the Poinsettia Mail stamp set.
I wanted to color the images using colored pencils. As the heat embossing makes it a bit hard to color the area next to the outline I first stamped the image in white pigment ink and colored it. Once coloring was done I heat embossed the image in gold with the help of my MISTI.
