Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!

It’s already time for a reminder card for the latest Flower Challenge with the theme “USE A NUMBER”!

I made a birthday card again. I used the numbers left from the cardmaking session for the main post, where I used the outlines of the numbers only.

The dahlias from the Dahlia Washi stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio were stamped in Peach Fuzz and watercolored in bright pink and light green. They were cut with the coordinating die. They have been in my stash after I made this card! I’m always happy to use up the watercolored leftover flowers, as I usually need hours to color them 🙂 .

For the background I first watercolored an A2 sized watercolor paper panel in pink and let it dry. After it was dry I splattered the same pink watercolor on it and let the panel dry again. Next I cut it using the Floral Tiles Coverplate die and adhered it on a white cardbase.

I cut the Simply Diamonds panel from some white cardstock and added it to the card using foam tape. The sentiment from the Happy Birthday Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Detail Black. I adhered the numbers which I watercolored in pink with gradation, on the sentiment banner and added it to the card.

I scattered a few Bubblegum Jewels and the card was finished!

Thank you so much for looking!

  1. As always amazing watercoloring, flowers truly are your masterpieces. Stunning card sweetie, hugs Aileen

  2. This looks beautiful TaeEun and the pink watercoloured background with the added tile design coverplate embossed into it and then the diamond trellis in white over the top is the perfect backdrop with the flowers which appear to be climbing up it and in coordinating pink and green tones, and love the faded out colour on the numbers and the added pink gems to finish. x
