The Ton June 2022 Release

Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Today is a Release Day at The Ton! The June 2022 Release includes six new layering stencil sets and coordinating dies. You will find some gorgeous large blooms of morning glories, poinsettia, sunflowers and poppies! Please check out The Ton blog for the full reveal!

I made a slimline card using the Sunflower Fields layering stencil set. It is 6″ x 9″. So it fits also for a slimline sized project!

I started by stenciling the Sunflower Fields on white cardstock. The flowers can be stenciled in three layers. I used four yellow-orange tones to vary the darkness ; Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine and Coralline Hybrid. For the leaves I used Spring Salad and Everglade Moss. After stenciling was done I cut the top outline of the Sunflower Field using the coordinating die.

I cut a yellow cardstock in slimline size and adhered it on a white slimline cardbase. Next I foam mounted the Sunflower Fields image on it. The white frame was cut using the Slim Frames Coverplate die. I cut it two times and layered them to make the frame sturdy and added it to the card.

I ink blended a piece of white cardstock in an ombre fashion in yellow to brown using Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Coralline hybrid and Aspen Cocoa and cut the Script Thanks from it. I cut it one more time, stacked them together and added it to the card using foam tape.

I finished off the card with a few Pale Orange Opaque rhinestones.
