For today’s hop I made a watercolored floral Thank You card. It features the Today is Special stamp set and the Inky Bouquet stamp set from this release.
I stamped the floral cluster from the Today is Special set in Peach Fuzz on a watercolor paper panel und watercolored it. Once done with watercoloring I cut the image using the coordinating die and set it aside.
For the background I watercolored a watercolor paper panel lightly in pink, yellow and green and let it dry. Next I stamped the Inky Bouquet on the panel in Detail Black. To make the bouquet slightly larger than the floral cluster from the Today is Special set, I stamped the Inky Bouquet in three parts ; first only the vase and then the left part of the bouquet shifted to the left and lastly the right part of the bouquet also shifted to the right. In that way I could make the black outlined flowers show behind the watercolored floral cluster.
I colored the vase in Doe using the Inky Bouquet stencil set. I cut the background panel using the Blanket Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it on a white cardbase.
The watercolored floral cluster was added to the card using foam tape. The sentiment from the Inky Bouquet set was stamped in Detail Black and cut using the coordinating die and added to the card.
I splattered white opaque ink on the card and finished it off by scattering some Champagne Glitter Drops.

What fabulous watercoloured flowers TaeEun, and a great idea to add them to the stencilled vase, and the black and white ones stamped beneath in black just framing the coloured ones does make it look like a larger bunch of flowers in the vase… a gorgeous card!
