Hello crafty friends! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!
As I said in my previous post I have more cards to share that I made using some items from the Showered in Love collection by Penny Black.
The first card is showing an oldie-but-goodie die called Rose (51-023). I’m sure you already saw many projects featuring the beautiful die. I matched it with a sentiment from the Without Limits (30-949) set from the new collection.
Actually this card is a CASE of my own card which I made for the Flower Challenge in 2017. I only changed the background color and the sentiment.
First I die cut the Rose (51-023) from a Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock. I then watercolored the negative panel in Payne’s gray and gold. The rose was also watercolored in bright pink. I colored the stem in green and the leaves in gold.
After the background panel was dry I stamped the sentiment from the Without Limits (30-949) set on it and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.
Next I added the rose on it using some foam tape as shown in the picture and splattered gold ink on the card. I finished off the card with some clear and white iridescent sequins.
The next card is featuring the Happy Mail (30-950) stamp set.
I first stamped the flowers on the bottom of a watercolor paper panel. I then covered the bottom part with a strip of scrap paper and stamped the lady on a bike in a black pigment ink. I drew the area which was covered with the scrap paper using a black micron pen and watercolored the panel.
After the coloring was done I adhered the panel on a white cardbase. The sentiment from the same stamp set was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock.
I finished off the card with a few iridescent, pink and gold sequins along with three tiny red rhinestoens.
That’s it! Hope you like my cards!

Two beautiful designs featuring this great new PB collection TaeEun, and I love the way you have die cut the rose and used that as the background with the rose mounted over it and lovely colour choices too, and then that fun image with the lady, and the cute dog sitting behind and with the heart sealed letters and framed with the flowers…so pretty! x
Girl! Look what I found over here on your blog… loads of beauty and charm! I love both of these cards. The first is so elegant and artsy. And the second is full of bright smiles!! Thanks for sharing your talents with Penny Black products!
