Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a restful weekend!

I have three cards to share with you that I made using some new cling stamps from the Hello Sunshine 2023 Collection by Penny Black.

The first two cards are showcasing the Potted Pretties (40-909) cling stamp. For both cards I stamped the image two times to fill the lower half of the A2 cards.

For this card I white heat embossed the image on watercolor paper panel. I then watercolored the flowers in yellow and orange and the background in dark purple and dark blue. After I was done with coloring I ink blended the background in various Distress inks in dark blue, purple and black and splattered white opaque ink on the whole panel.

I cut the panel using a die from the Sewing Stackers (51-651) die set and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.

The sentiment was cut using the Thanks Edger (51-774) die four times from some white cardstock. I layered them all and added the sentiment to the card. The sub-sentiment is from the Thanks Builder (30-974) set. I white heat embossed it on a strip of navy cardstock.

I finished off the card with a few purple and clear sequins.

For the next card I stamped the Potted Pretties (40-909) image two times in Antique Linen distress ink on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored it. I colored some flowers in pink , some of them in cerulean blue and for some of them I added purple to those two colors. After I was done with coloring, I ink blended the bottom edge in green and the top of the panel in light blue. To add some texture to the background I splattered clean water on it and dabbed it off with a paper towel. I also splattered white ink on the whole panel.

pp-2-4-3

I cut the “hello” from the colored panel using the die from the Hello Edger (51-772) set. I also cut the “hello” four more times from some white cardstock.

pp-2-cu1-3

I adhered the colored panel on a white cardbase. Next I inlaid the white die cut “hello”, stacked the rest of the white die cut sentiments on it and lastly the sentiment from the colored panel. The sub-sentiment is from the Hello Builder (30-976) set. I white heat embossed it on a strip of dark brown cardstock. To finish off I scattered a few clear sequins.

pp-2-3-3

The last card for today is featuring the Songbird (40-884) cling stamp.

sb-1-2-2

As I wanted to color the image using Copic markers, I stamped it on a Neenah solar white panel in a light brown ink. To color the flowers I used various RV colors. I colored some of the flowers slightly darker. For the leaves I used YG11, YG03, YG17 and G28. I colored the back of the bird in E41, E43, E44, E57 and E59, the orange part in YR15, YR04 and R05 and the belly in W1, W3 and W5. To color the stem I used E55, E57 and E59.

Next I added more details to the image using Polychromos colored pencils.

sb-4-2

Once done with coloring, I ink blended the bottom and the right side of the panel in pink and cut it using a die from the Stitched Nested Frames (51-535) set.

To add some twist to the card I cut the finished panel using the edger die of the Thanks Edger (51-774) set. I then mounted the upper part of the panel flat on a white cardbase and foam mounted the lower part.

The sentiment was cut four times from white cardstock and layered on the card.

I finished off this card with some pink and clear rhinestones.

Absolutely beautiful results using these two pretty PB stamps TaeEun, and the two versions of the Potted Pretties depicting nighttime and summery sunshine colours on the second are both amazing looks, and the third with the bird and pretty flowers is so pretty using Copics and pencils for more detail and I love the wonderful pink ink blending on the background and the very pretty edge die you have used on this and another super ornate one on the first card too, they do produce some wonderful dies. x
