Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a restful weekend!
Today I have a card to share which I made for the Pinkfresh Studio June 2023 Challenge! The theme of this month’s challenge is SUNSHINE ON MY MIND ! You can see the color palette from the challenge graphic. It’s a refreshing mix of bright colors!
I stenciled the Handpicked Flowers image using the color palette and added it to a background in ombre blue 💙!
To begin I heat embossed the floral cluster from the Handpicked Flowers set from May 2023 Release in white on a Neenah solar white panel. I stenciled the pink flowers in Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Sparkling Rose and Passion Fruit, the yellow flowers in Sunshine and Apricot and the leaves in Mint and Meadow.
After the stenciling was done, I cut the image with the coordinating die and set it aside.
To create the background, I first ink blended the perimeter of a white panel in Summer Shower, Seaside and Storm making it darker towards the edge. Next I dry embossed the panel with the Pretty Blossoms hot foil plate and adhered in on a navy cardbase.
The Handpicked Flowers image was foam mounted on the card.
The sentiment was from the Basic Banners: Celebrate set. I stamped it in Detail Black and cut with the Basic Banners die. I cut one more banner from white cardstock, ink blended it in Seaside and matted the sentiment banner with it. I curved the banner and added it to the card with foam tape. Some Sapphire Jewels were my finishing touch for this card.

A beautiful card TaeEun and I love the embossed background with the ink blending to highlight the prettily stencilled flowers in the centre, and finished perfectly with the curved banner sentiment and the delightful little gems. x
