Hello everyone!
A new challenge has started at The Flower Challenge! The theme for the month of July is CAS (Clean & Simple). I used to create many CAS cards when I first started cardmaking. However, my cardmaking style has evolved over time, leaning towards a more complex one with layers and dimension. So it was challenging for me to make a clean and simple card again. It felt like I was stopping my work in the middle of a creative process 🙂 . My card might not be CAS enough but I did my best!
I used the simple floral cluster image of the Humbled & Grateful stamp set from the Pinkfresh Studio June 2023 Release.
I stamped the Humbled & Grateful image on the left side of a A2 Neenah solar white panel in Detail Black. Then I stamped it again on a piece of Neenah solar white panel. I then stenciled the images using the coordinating stencil set. I stenciled the flowers of the A2 sized panel in light yellow using Lemon Whip and Marigold and the leaves in light blue and light purple using Summer Shower and Soft Lilac. I stenciled the second image in darker colors in Apricot, Passion Fruit, Seaside and Lavender.
After I was done with stenciling, I attached the A2 sized panel on a white cardbase and cut a heart from the second panel using the Shaker Heart die. I cut the heart from an area so that it aligns with the image of the center of the A2 panel. I added the heart to the card using foam tape.
The sentiment is from the Basic Banners Everyday stamp set which was cut using the Basic Banners Celebrate die.

What a wonderful bright and beautiful card TaeEun and I love the added stitched heart which gives great dimenson and with the prettily coloured flowers spilling over onto it….a great CAS design! x
Definitely CAS enough, TaeEun. I love how the raised portion of the image is darker that the rest. Very dramatic.
