It’s already time for a reminder post for the ongoing Flower Challenge with the theme CAS!
For my little floral cluster I used the Lovely Blooms stamp set from the June Releaese by Pinkfresh Studio.
I gold heat embossed the floral images of the Lovely Blooms on Neenah solar white cardstock and stenciled them using the coordinating stencil set. The pink hue of the petals was stenciled in Coral Reef and Passion Fruit, the orange hue in Apricot, the yellow flower was stenciled in Lemon Whip and Marigold and the leaves in Warm Buff and Grassy Knoll. Lastly I stenciled the second layer of the leaves in Doe. Once done with stenciling, I cut the images using the coordinating die.
The stripes for the background were cut using the Slim Stripes die. I cut white stripes and ink blended them partially in Grassy Knoll, Warm Buff and Doe.
I added the stripes to a white cardbase using foam tape as shown in the picture and mounted the floral cluster on it. The sentiment is from the Basic Banners Everyday stamp set which was cut using the Basic Banners Celebrate die.
I finished off the card with a few Leaf and Gold Glitter Drops.

Those prettily coloured stripes make a wonderful background to the beautiful flowers TaeEun and the little gems finish it perfectly. I know that you will be missed over at The Flower Challenge, but we all need a change of direction sometimes.
