Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio “Flourish & Glow” Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from Michelle Short’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio, and we’re so excited to unveil the Flourish & Glow Release! True to its name, this collection is filled with beautiful floral designs, including two floral washi suites debuting today. Alongside them, three unique geometric coverplate dies are also being introduced, perfect for enriching your creative projects!

I’ve created two cards for today’s hop! Let’s take a look at them 🙂 !

My first card showcases the Freesia Flourish product suite along with the Diamond Lattice and the Floral Lattice dies from this Release.

To begin, I hot foiled the Freesia Flourish image in gold and colored it with the coordinating stencils in a soft, elegant palette. The flowers were inked in two tones – pink and light orange, using Sparkling Rose and Apricot for the first layer, and Bubble Gum and Clementine for the second. For the greenery I used Grassy Knoll and Olive, then added a touch of Doe ink to bring in natural depth. Once the stenciling was complete, I cut the image with the coordinating die and set it aside.

To create a soft pastel background, I ink blended the center of a white panel with Sparkling Rose, Apricot, and Grassy Knoll, then dry embossed it using the Floral Lattice coverplate die to add subtle texture. I cut the panel with the Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch die and adhered it to a white cardbase.

For an elegant layered look, I cut a white cardstock with the Diamond Lattice die, and then cut an oval frame from another piece of white cardstock with the Nested Elongated Ovals die. I adhered the Diamond Lattice behind the oval frame and trimmed off any excess before mounting the piece to the background with foam tape. The Freesia Flourish image was then added over the top.

The sentiment, from the same Press Plate set, was hot foiled in gold and cut with the coordinating die. To finish, I added a touch of luxury with five Gold Metallic Pearls, enhancing the overall golden accents of the design.

The second card features the Bloom Burst suite, a beautiful full-panel floral design in A2 size. The overlapping petals and soft ink blending through the stencils create a light, airy feel that’s both fresh and elegant.

The flowers are divided into two stencil groups. For the first group of the flowers I chose a coral-orange mix using Cherry Blossom, Apricot, Peony, and clementine. For the second group, I created a blue-purple blend with Sky Blue, Soft Lilac, Summer Shower, and Lavender. For the center of the flowers I used Sunshine and the leaves were colored in Ocean Breeze and Grassy Knoll.

After completing the stenciling, I used the coordinating die to cut the floral panel and trimmed the edges with a rectangle die. I then cut an additional Bloom Burst from white cardstock to use as a base, foam mounted the stenciled rectangle on top. And adhered the entire piece to a white cardbase using foam tape.

The sentiment from the Peony Glow stamp set was stamped in Detail Black, cut with the coordinating die and added to the center of the card, along with two banners cut with the Basic Banners die– one from vellum and the other from soft pink cardstock. To finish, I embellished the design with Iridescent Clear Drops, enhancing the soft, airy look of the florals.
