For the hop, I created a cute pink holiday card featuring the Merry Mistletoe product suite, paired with the Celestial Quilt and the Celestial Weave dies.
I started by stenciling the Merry Mistletoe images in the following colors:
- Bow
- Stencil 1: Cherry Blossom
- Stencil 2: Peony
- Mistletoe
- Stencil 3: Sage, Eucalyptus,
- Stencil 4: Citron, Bay Leaf
- Stencil 5: Ocean Breeze
- Stencil 6: Waterfall
- Stencil 7: Wisteria
Once the stenciling was complete, I die cut the bow and mistletoe using the coordinating die and set them aside.
To create the background, I first ink blended a white panel with Cherry Blossom and Peony, keeping the center uncolored and gradually deepening the color toward the edges.
I then die cut the panel with the Celestial Quilt die and layered the white Celestial Weave die cut on top.
I adhered the finished background panel onto a white cardbase and added the mistletoe and bow with foam tape for dimension.
The sentiment is from the Treasured Greetings Press Plate set. I hot foiled it in gold for a festive touch, die cut with the coordinating die, and foam mounted it in the center of the card.
To finish off the card, I scattered a few Blush Clear Drops for a bit of sparkle.
