Hello again!!!
Today a new challenge has started at Seize the Birthday! My lovely team mate Barbara wants for us to play with butterflies this time around.
BUTTERFLIES
But you may enter any birthday themed project into our gallery, if you want!
I integrated lots of butterflies in my card :)!
I started off by making the background panel. I applied Hazelnut, Pink Sherbet, Peach Bellini and Denim alcohol ink on a Ranger alcohol ink cardstock and blended them using rubbing alcohol and blending solution.
After the panel was dry I cut the Butterfly Swirl by The Ton from the panel . I also cut it from some white cardstock. I then gold heat embossed the Softly stamp (40-671) by Penny Black on the panel.
I cut the panel using Swirly Stitches die (51-502) by Penny Black and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. I then added several white butterflies onto the panel and one butterfly cut from the colored panel on a tulip.
The sentiment was gold heat embossed on a strip of vellum and adhered on the card. To finish off I added blue rhinestones on a butterfly and on the end of the sentiment strip.
That’s it from me! Hope you like my card!
Please hop over to Seize the Birthday blog for more inspiration from my team mates and our surprise party guest Su Mohr from Aromas and Art! And don’t forget to play along :)!
Wishing you all a happy day!
Hugs,
TaeEun
