Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio June Washi Release Blog Hop!!! You’ve arrived here from my lovely crafty friend Yoonsun’s blog, if you’re following the blog hop order. In case you’re lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!
I’m so excited to be a stop on this special blog hop celebrating new Washi tape release by Pinkfresh Studio! Four 5.5 inch wide washi tapes and two thin washi tapes are debuting today. But it’s not all!!! There are coordinating stamp sets and die sets included in this release! How awesome!!! You can cut the pretty images on the washi tapes using the coordinating dies and add your own color on the same image using the stamp sets! This is genius!
I’ve made five cards to share with you for today, but first I want to show you the wide washi tapes. Each washi tape includes three different designs in A2 size, along with floral border designs in case of Eucalyptus Fantasy and Painted Florals washi tape. After I received the washi tapes I adhered the tape on white cardstock to see the whole design and I used the panels for my cards as the background panel or as main elements after die cutting.

Now to my cards!
For my first card I used a panel from Eucalyptus Fantasy as the background and added small floral clusters from Floral Elements stamp set.
The background is a A2 sized frame design from Eucalyptus Fantasy Washi tape. I adhered it on a white cardstock, narrowed down the panel a little bit and adhered it on a black cardbase. The small floral clusters from Floral Elements stamp set were gold heat embossed on some black sketch paper and colored using Luminance colored pencils. I then die cut the images using Floral Elements die.
For this card I used a A2 panel from Rainbow with Splatters Washi as the background. The leafy wreath is from Eucalyptus Fantasy stamp set.
First I added four circle elements in the background panel using Braided Circles die set. It adds more interest and continues the circle of the wreath into the background.
I white heat embossed the leafy wreath from Eucalyptus Fantasy stamp set on some vellum and die cut it using coordinating die. I colored the wreath on the back of the vellum using some alcohol markers in the same colors like the background panel.
In my third card I used the Rainbow with Splatters washi tape and the small floral elements from Painted Florals washi tape.
Here I used red-green panel I made by adhering Rainbow with Splatters washi tape on white cardstock. Again I cut various circles from the panel using Braided Circles die set. I then die cut the floral elements from Painted Florals washi tape using coordinating dies.
I cut some vellum hexagon to give the floral clusters their mat to sit on. I used Basic Label Frames die set. I gold heat embossed the sides of the hexagon, and gold heat embossed the sentiment from Just a Little Lovely stamp set on the smallest hexagon.
Now I started assembling the card by adhering the background panel on a black cardbase. The hexagons were then foam mounted and the floral clusters were added on them using some foam adhesives.
Next rainbow card is showing the third panel from Rainbow with Splatters washi tape as its background.
The big floral cluster is from Floral Cluster stamp set. I white heat embossed the image on a watercolor paper panel and colored it using color burst powders in rainbow colors. I then die cut the image and set it aside.
I cut both sides of the background panel using scalloped edge die from Simple Edgers die set from this release. I adhered the panel on a white cardbase and added the floral image on it using some foam adhesives.
The sentiment is from Blooming Bouquet stamp set. I white heat embossed it on a strip of black cardstock. I made two more strips using Matte Gold washi tape and Watercolor Fantasy washi tape, added them first to the card and foam mounted the sentiment strip. To finish off I scattered some clear iridescent sequins.
For my last card I used a panel I prepared using Adorable Frames washi tape.
To this card I simply added some floral cluster and leafy elements which were die cut from Painted Florals washi tape and Eucalyptus Fantasy washi tape.
The sentiment is from Floral Cluster stamp set. First I stamped the “grateful” in black and heat embossed it in gold. I fussy cut the sentiment and added it to the card using foam adhesives. The sentiment strip was cut from a panel I watercolored in the colors I picked from the background panel. The sentiment was stamped in brown. I glued the middle part of the strip directly on the card and slightly curled the fishtail ends up.
Some iridescent sequins were my finishing touch for this card.
That’s all from my side! Hope I was able to showcase the beauty of the new washi tapes and coordinating stamp and die sets!
