Hello and happy Friday, everyone!!!
Today I have five cards to share with you. I was having the pleasure to play with some of new items from Full Bloom release by Penny Black as a contributor. Penny Black has released some gorgeous floral designs along with cute critter stamps which are as always so unique and fun!
Today I’m showcasing some of the beautiful floral stamps from Full Bloom Release. This is a very long and photo-heavy post. So please grab something to drink before you start :)!
This card design popped in my mind immediately, as I saw Bunches for You (30-570) set for the first time. Watercoloring seemed to be the best coloring medium for this set.
I white heat embossed the image on a watercolor cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from Special Sentiment set (30-574) in black.
The second card is featuring Blushing (30-564) set. It’s a beautiful single flower. I think it’s a peony :).
I started by stamping the image on a Ranger Alcohol ink cardstock panel three times in Memento light pink and light green ink as my guide to do some alcohol ink color wash. I then added Flamingo and Limeade on the panel. The colors were diluted with rubbing alcohol for a light background coloring.
After the panel was dry I gold heat embossed the image three times on it, while masking where they overlap. I then splattered Gold Mixative and let it dry.
The sentiment die is included in Blushing Cut Out (51-536) as well. I cut it from some golden cardstock and from some white cardstock to stack them together. I then started assembling the card. To tone down the background I added a vellum panel cut using Stitched Nested Frames die (51-535) on the background panel, foam mounted the flower and added the sentiment. My finishing touch for this card was some Medallion Gold sequins by The Ton.
My next card is a one layer card.
I stamped this floral border using the beautiful Bouquet Ballet (40-674) and the floral clusters from Flower Fantasy (30-565) set in Memento black ink.
I then had a happy coloring time!!! I used Copic markers to color the images.
The colors I used:
My fourth card is featuring Golden Dance set (30-562).
I started off by stamping the image in Versafine black ink on some watercolor paper to watercolor it.
I colored the image with my Mijello Mission Gold watercolor and let it dry. After it was completely dry, I cut the image using the matching Cut Out (51-533) and set it aside.
I then prepared the background panel. I did some watercolor wash in Payne’s gray and gold on a Canson Mixed Media Panel and let it dry. The dried panel was cut using one of the dies from Stitched Nested Frames die (51-535) set. I cut a navy cardstock slightly larger than the background panel and adhered them together to add a thin navy border to the background panel.
I adhered the background panel on a white cardbase and stamped the sentiment from Golden Dance set (30-562) in Navy on the cardbase. I then foam mounted the colored image and added some golden sequins to finish off the card.
My last card for today is showing the beautiful bird from Peaceful time set (30-571).
For a no line coloring I stamped the bird on a branch in Antique Linen DI on a watercolor paper. I watercolored the image with the Mijello Mission Gold watercolor along with gold and silver watercolor. I did a fancy coloring on the bird. I love the fairy-like look of him (her)!
After the coloring was done I cut the image using matching Cut Out (51-532) and set it aside. I cut a front panel with a circle window using my Cricut from a shimmery cardstock. I then cut the panel with the largest die from Stitched Nested Frames die (51-535) set.
The sentiment is from Family Sentiments set (30-555). I heat embossed it in silver on the front panel. I added some white die cut leaves on the cardbase, which were cut using the dies included in the Peaceful Time Cut Out (51-532), before I foam mounted the front panel on the cardbase. I then adhered the colored image using some foam adhesives and added some clear sequins to finish off the card.
You did it :)!!! Thank you so much for staying with me through this long post! I hope I was able to inspire you with my cards today!
Wishing you all a wonderful and restful weekend!

Today I have five cards to share with you. I was having the pleasure to play with some of new items from Full Bloom release by Penny Black as a contributor. Penny Black has released some gorgeous floral designs along with cute critter stamps which are as always so unique and fun!
The first one is showing Bunches for You (30-570) stamp set. Wouldn’t it be awesome, if you get an envelope filled with pretty flowers 🌸?
This card design popped in my mind immediately, as I saw Bunches for You (30-570) set for the first time. Watercoloring seemed to be the best coloring medium for this set.
I white heat embossed the image on a watercolor cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from Special Sentiment set (30-574) in black.
To color the panel I first added light green, light blue and pink watercolor wash on and around the image where the colors are supposed to be and then added the second layer on the image. For some sparkle I colored the flowers using some stardust gel pen in the same colors.
I cut the colored panel using the largest Stitched Nested Frames die (51-535) and foam mounted it on a light blue cardbase. I finished off the card by adding some clear sequins.
I stamped the Blushing (30-564) image again on a separate Alcohol ink cardstock in Memento ink and added alcohol inks directly on the image. I dripped Raspberry, Flamingo and Valencia on the flower and Pool, Botanical and Limeade on the stem and leaves. I gold heat embossed the image again on the alcohol ink colored image and cut it using the matching Cut Out (51-536).
- Yellow, Orange: Y02, 08, 17, YR1, 04 and 09
- Blue: B00, 12, 14 and B16
- Purple: BV00, B63, 66 and 79
- Red: R27, 29, 46 and 39
- Coral: R20, 21, 22 and 24
- Pink: RV02, 13, 14 and 17
- Green: YG01, 05, 07 and 17 / G00, G14, G05 and YG95
After the coloring was completed, I blended Salty Ocean DI on the edge with a very light hand.
The sentiment is from Special Sentiment set (30-574). I stamped it simply in black on the colored panel. For a finished look I dry embossed the largest Stitched Nested Frames die (51-535) on the panel and mounted it on a cardbase. I added some shine on the stamen of the flowers using Glaze pens in various colors.
My fourth card is featuring Golden Dance set (30-562).
I colored the image with my Mijello Mission Gold watercolor and let it dry. After it was completely dry, I cut the image using the matching Cut Out (51-533) and set it aside.

After the coloring was done I cut the image using matching Cut Out (51-532) and set it aside. I cut a front panel with a circle window using my Cricut from a shimmery cardstock. I then cut the panel with the largest die from Stitched Nested Frames die (51-535) set.
To match with the color scheme of the bird, I blended Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Twisted Citron DOX on a white card base as shown in the picture. I masked the left side to leave a white border. I splattered clear water and dabbed it off and also added white opaque ink splatters on it.
