Hello everyone!

I’m popping in to share a special card. Simon Says Stamp is celebrating the 10th Stamptember® this year! Many stamp companies are celebrating with Simon Says Stamp by designing special stamp sets through the whole September.

Pinkfresh Studio has designed a gorgeous floral border stamp set called Partial Cut Floral Frame! As the name already says the coordinating die cuts only the tip of some leaves and petals of the pretty floral frame image.

I couldn’t join on the release day, as this Partial Cut Floral Frame stamp took a little break somewhere on the way to me 🙂. These exclusive stamps are only available in a limited quantity. So if you love this, get one before it’s gone!

Here is my card!

I stamped the floral frame image on a Arteza’s black sketch paper in a white pigment ink and colored it using Luminance and Holbein colored pencils. I think the Luminance pencils can cover the dark paper slightly better than Prismacolor pencils. I also chose the Holbein pencils, as they have many bright pastel colors. But Prismacolor pencils would also work great on black.

After the coloring was done, I cut the panel with the coordinating die, cut it again using a Stitched Rectangle die and curled up the cut part of the petals and leaves. I cut a heavyweight soft pink cardstock using the same Stitched Rectangle die. To add some sparkle to the back panel I heat embossed the border of the soft pink panel in Iridescent Sparkle EP and adhered the black front panel on it. It’s hard to catch the sparkle peeking through the slits underneath the curled up leaves and petals in the picture.

The front panel was then mounted flat on a soft pink cardbase. The sentiment was stamped in a black pigment ink on the same soft pink cardstock I used for the cardbase and heat embossed in Extreme Peacock EP for some sparkle. I cut the sentiment panel using a die from Fancy Label Frames die set and foam mounted onto the card.

I finished off the card by adding some highlight using a white gel pen and some pretty crystals from Crystal Mix.

The partial cut flowers and leaves are so cute when they are curled up! Such a unique design!
Hope you liked looking my card!

Have a happy weekend!
