Hello and happy Friday, everyone!!!
It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! The theme for October is CAS: clean and simple!
We have a PRIZE to give away again this month. The amazing Michele from
CAS-ual Fridays stamps has generously agreed to give our lucky winner this month a
prize of $25. All the Design Team have used CAS-ual Fridays stamps also on their cards. Michele very kindly gave us all some of her stamps to use on our cards 😉
I stamped the flower and two leaves in light yellow ink on Bristol smooth paper panel and colored the images using Prismacolor colored pencils. After coloring was completed, I stamped the images again in an embossing ink and heat embossed them in gold. I also gold heat embossed the stem with the integrated sentiment.
I then cut off the left part of the flower image using a kraft knife and foam mounted the panel on a yellow cardbase. To keep my card clean I didn’t add any embellishment.
I love how this card turned out. And it was a very quick and easy one!
