Hello everyone!

Hope you’re all doing well! I have a few cards to share with you today. 4 couples of cards exactly 🙂 ! Hope you don’t mind to stay with me through the long post! Grab something to drink and have fun!

My cards today are featuring some goodies from Season of Hope Release by Penny Black

The first pair of cards is showcasing the cute Sing Joy (30-751) stamp and coordinating Cut Out (51-693) along with standalone dies, Holy Branches (51-662) and Winter Greens (51-667).

I stamped three cuties from the Sing Joy (30-751) stamp set on a watercolor paper in black pigment ink and let it dry. I then colored them using Karin Brush markers and die cut them out.

For the purple card I die cut the Holy Branches (51-662) several times from some heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them on the border of a white cardbase. I ink blended Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord DI on it leaving the center of the cardbase white. I splattered white opaque ink on the cardbase and stamped the sentiment from Sing Joy (30-751) set in black.

I foam mounted the little fairy in purple on it and added white Holy Branches (51-662) and the music notes which were cut using the dies from Sing Joy Cut Out (51-693).

For the second card I ink blended a white cardbase in blue, pink and purple using some DIs as shown in the picture and foam mounted the white hill and the Winter Greens (51-667) cut from white cardstock on it.

I then added the fairies in green and red on it. The sentiment is also from Sing Joy (30-751) stamp set.

The next couple of cards are featuring the Slothmas! (30-782) stamp set. The sloths from this set are so fun and cute!!!

On this card the Slothmas! (30-782) image and the sentiment were stamped in Memento black ink and colored using Copic markers.

I dry embossed the panel with two dies from Looped Stackers (51-631) set for some texture in the background. I masked the top border of the panel and ink blended it in light pink and light blue and foam mounted the panel on a cardbase on which I adhered a red striped patterned paper.

Here I started by stamping the sloth in Antique Linen DI on some watercolor paper and colored it using Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. I also watercolored the top part of the background in green and blended green DI inks on it after masking the borders.

Actually I planned to do no line coloring but I didn’t like the look. So I decided to draw the outline with fine liners. I drew the Christmas lights using a silver gel pen and added shimmer Pico Embellisher to the tiny light bulbs and the berries.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in purple on the colored panel and adhered it on a white cardbase.

The frame was cut using Stitches of Love (51-597) dies from some purple plaid patterned paper. I added Winter Greens (51-667) ,which I watercolored, to the frame and foam mounted it  on the card.

Next two cards are showing the My Deer (30-756) stamp set.

I silver heat embossed the deer, watercolored it and fussy cut. The Snowflake Pattern (40-706) was white heat embossed on some watercolor paper. I ink blended the panel in pink using Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose DOX inks and foam mounted the panel on a pink cardbase.

I cut the looped frame three times using Looped Stackers (51-631) die from white cardstock, stacked them together and adhered it on the card. I then added the deer and the snowflakes which were cut with a die from Snowflake Frame (51-565) die set to the card. The sentiment from My Deer (30-756) set was white heat embossed on a dark brown banner. I finished off the card with a clear rhinestone on the snowflake and a red one for the deer’s bow.

The rainbow trees on the second card are also from My Deer (30-756) stamp set. I gold heat embossed the trees on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored the trees in rainbow colors. I ink blended the sky in Black Soot, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean DI and splattered clear water and white ink on it.

md-2-4-wm

I foam mounted the fussy cut hill with the sentiment from Snowflake Season (30-779) set on the bottom of the card and put rainbow rhinestones on the top of the trees to finish off the card.

The last couple of cards are featuring Heart Christmas (30-759) stamp set. This stamp set includes some whimsical holiday themed floral elements along with a pretty heart-shaped wreath.

I gold heat embossed all the images from the stamp set, some of them multiple times, on a watercolor paper. I watercolored the images in pink, purple, olive green and gold and cut them using the Heart Christmas Cut Out (51-690)

To create the background for this card I dry embossed a Mixed Media Paper panel with all of the dies from Looped Stackers (51-631) set. I watercolored the panel in the same color scheme I used to color the floral elements. After the panel was a dry I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Moments (30-731) set in gold and foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase.

hc-1-4-wm

I arranged the holiday floral clusters as shown in the picture and finished off the card with some clear iridescent sequins.

For this card I made a striped panel using some cardstock strips in the same colors I used for the wreath. I cut the panel using Leaf Stitched Frames (51-552) die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.

hc-2-4-wm

I cut the heart-shaped wreath from some white cardstock, stamped the sentiment from Bright & Light (30-762) stamp set in black on it and adhered it on the center of the card. I then added the colored wreath to it using some foam tape. A little pink rhinestone on the bow was my finishing touch!

  1. I love all these cards featuring some of the new PB stamps TaeEun and beautifully designed and coloured. The fun carol singers are so sweet, and also the fun sloths, and the sweet deer and the wonderful bright rainbow trees, and lastly the pretty soft colours of the foliage. I recently saw Heather’s card on kraft using this heart shaped foliage and decided to use some foliage stamps I already had to make a heart shape for an anniversary card which worked reasonably well, but the PB foliage is so light and you have used it very effectively with the striped background. All your backgrounds are brilliant and give great effects to enhance the different stamps perfectly. x
