Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio April 2021 Stamp, Stencil, Die, and Hot Foil Release Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Melissa Phillips’ blog, you’re right on track. If you are lost on the way or want to start over from the beginning of the hop, please head on over to Pinkfresh Studio blog

Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the April 2021 Stamp, Stencil, Die, and Hot Foil Release with an epic blog hop today! In this release there are gorgeous butterflies and beautiful floral designs with coordinating layering stencils and dies and some pretty stand alone die sets. I’m especially exited about the new sentiment sets with hot foil plate, stamp and die set! With these sentiments sets you can have lots of sentiments ready for your upcoming projects!

I have two cards to share with you today! I chose a color theme for today’s cards, yellow-orange-pink! I love the flow of these pretty floral colors!

The first card is featuring Miss Your Smile slimline stamp and Layering stencil set and Celebrating You stamp and die set.

I started off by white heat embossing the Miss Your Smile image on a white cardstock. I then stenciled the image using the Miss Your Smile Layering stencils. I inked the first layer of the flowers in Lemon Whip, Apricot and Coral Reef changing the colors while stenciling. The second layer was stenciled in Sweet Mustard, Clementine and Bubble Gum. The leaves were colored in Fresh Pear and Grassy Knoll.

Next I cut the panel using two dies from the Slim Ornate Banner die set to get the frame and the center panel. I adhered the center panel on a white slimline cardbase and foam mounted the frame.

The Celebrating You sentiments were white heat embossed on a black cardstock and cut using the coordinating die. I added the sentiment I chose to the card using some foam tape and adhered a few enamel dots in the matching colors from My Favorite Story collection to finish off the card.

The second card is showing the Butterflies stamp, Layering stencil and die set, and Perfect sentiments hot foil plate and the coordinating die. The Butterflies set has two butterflies, one is in a look from the top and the other one from the side.

To begin I gold heat embossed the Butterfly and added colors using the Layering stencil. I kept the butterfly in the today’s color scheme, yellow-orange and pink by stenciling the wings in Lemon Whip, Marigold, Peach Fuzz, Clementine, Ballet Slipper and Coral Reef. I stenciled the body and the tip of the top and bottom wings in Regal Kiss. I stenciled the tip of the middle wings in Candy Apple. I then cut the butterfly using the coordinating die.

To add some sparkle I covered the body and the tip of the top and bottom wings with clear glitter embossing paste and set the butterfly aside to dry.

For the background I chose Floral Shadow cling stamp. First I ink blended a white panel in Lemon Whip, Ballet Slipper and Apricot. After the panel was dry I stamped the Floral Shadow in an embossing ink and clear heat embossed it. And then I ink blended the panel again in Marigold, Coral Reef and Clementine Which shows off the flower pattern of the background stamp.

I then cut the butterfly from the panel using the Butterflies die and adhered the negative panel on a white cardbase. (I cut out the butterfly, because my first plan was to inlay the stenciled butterfly into the background panel 🙂 .)

I cut the Fancy Oval Frame three times from heavyweight white cardstock and layered them all before I added it to the card. After that I put the butterfly on the frame using foam tape.

The sentiment was hot foiled in gold using Perfect sentiments hot foil plate and cut with the coordinating die. I scattered some yellow and pink Crystals on the card and the card was done!
