Hello everyone! Today, I have three more cards to share that I made using some new items from the Scent of Spring collection by Penny Black! Last week, I showed floral cards, and today’s cards are cute ones 🙂 !

The first card features one of the three butterfly stencils from this collection! This one is called Aerial (25-024).

First, I cut white cardstock using the Aerial Cut Out (51-811) and then started stenciling. I stenciled the wings in blue and purple and the body in brown. To stencil the vein pattern, I used the Lemon Sorbet mousse.

To create the background, I watercolored a watercolor paper panel loosely in blue and purple and cut it using the All-in-One oval die (51-815). I foam mounted the panel on a light blue cardbase without the middle oval part and added the butterfly to the center.

The sentiment from the Bloom with Grace set (31-041) was stamped in black on the background panel. I added a clear rhinestone to the head of the butterfly for some bling.

The next two cards showcase the cute girls from the Childhood stamp set (31-054). I made two clean and simple cards using them.

I stamped both images in black on some watercolor paper and watercolored them. Then, I fussy cut the images.

For this one I used the All-in-One Oval die (51-815). I cut white cardstock using the All-in-One Oval die (51-815) and foam mounted the background part on a white cardbsae. Before doing that, I stamped the sentiment from the Bloom with Grace set (31-041) in black on it.

I adhered the girl image on the back of the oval frame and added it to the center of the card using foam tape. To give it some more dimension I cut one more white oval frame and added it to the first one using foam tape.

To create the next card, I cut a 4,5″ square cardbase and embossed the front of it using the Dots & Dashes (65-020) embossing folder.

Next, I foam mounted the oval frame, which I got when I made the first card, on the cardbase. I added a white oval piece to the center and the second girl image on it using foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the Super Day set (31-044) in black and cut it using a speech bublbe die from A Pocket Full die set (51-053).

Three clear sequins were my finishing touch for this clean and simple card!

  1. They are super cute! And the butterfly is gorgeous! I really love how you put the Let Your Dreams sentiment on the diagonal!

  2. Three really pretty images TaeEun using that sweet butterfly and a smooshed background in that beautiful blue and purple, and the second and third with the two cute little ladies and two beautiful backgrounds using the pierced die and then the diamond dots and dashes on the last and love the pierced oval die cut frame and then on the last the cut out from the first made into a frame which both show off the images brilliantly. x

  3. This post is loaded with CUTENESS!!! OMG! I love each one!!! Your coloring and artistic skills just shine. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
