It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! Pinkfresh Studio is introducing an adorable new critter collection filled with cool, summery illustrations !
Today I’m excited to share two product suites from this charming release: Seaside Cones and Sweet Scoops! Each suite includes a stencil set with a coordinating one-piece die. I also played with two additional new products: the Starry Scallops Die and the Petal Grid Press Plate. Although these are designed to work beautifully together, I decided to use them individually for today’s projects.
The first card is featuring the Seaside Cones.
I started by stenciling the adorable seal in Sheer Freesia, adding a soft touch of Warm Buff to its belly. The beach towel is stenciled in Summer Shower, while the ice cream scoops are a sweet blend of Bubble Gum and Apricot. The seal’s scarf is colored in Raspberry Bliss, and for the cone, I used Warm Buff. The darker accents were added using Licorice. After die-cutting the images with the coordinating one-piece die, I set them aside to work on the background.
For the background, I used the background stencils from the Guiding Light suite, blending Waterfall and Sparkling Rose around the clouds for the sky, and Warm Buff for the sandy beach. To add subtle texture, I dry-embossed the background panel using the Petal Grid Press Plate.
Once the background was complete, I adhered it to my card base and arranged the die-cut elements as shown. The sentiment is from the Gelato on the Go stamp set, stamped in Detail Black, die cut, and foam mounted to the top of the card. I finished off the design with a few iridescent Clear Drops for a touch of sparkle.
For my second card, I focused on the Sweet Scoops suite, paired with the fun Starry Scallops Die.
I began by stenciling the main image in a cheerful pastel palette: Summer Shower, Sweet Mustard, Mint, Bubble Gum, and Apricot. The cone was again done in Warm Buff, and the adorable bunny was stenciled in Summer Shower with a hint of Lavender on the tips of the ears. For the sprinkles and small accents, I used Raspberry Bliss. Once finished, I die-cut the image and set it aside.
To create the background, I ink-blended a soft pink ombré using Raspberry Bliss, Bubble Gum, and Sparkling Rose, keeping the color more vibrant at the top and fading gently toward the center. I blended both a white panel and a card base, then die-cut the panel with the Starry Scallops die and foam mounted it over the cardbase for dimension.
Finally, I added the Sweet Scoops image using foam tape. The sentiment, from the Patisserie Pals stamp set, was stamped in Detail Black, die cut and also foam mounted onto the card.
As a finishing touch, I added three Blush Clear Drops for a sweet sparkle.

The Petal Grid Press Plate wins again for providing a lovely background for cards. I love how you created a beach scene and then embossed it with the Press Plate. The Sweet Scoops set gives a wonderful image that really carries your second card. Wonderful cards.
