Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s already time for a reminder post for the ongoing Flower Challenge with the theme USE YOUR FAVORITE FLOWERS !
For this card I used the Anemone Border background cling stamp by The Ton. Yes, I picked anemone as my favorite flower again 🙂 !
I started by heat embossing the Anemone Border in gold on a watercolor paper panel. I watercolored the anemones in Cerulean Blue and Orchid Color Burst. After I was done with the coloring I cut the inner part of the image using the coordinating die.
To add some texture to the background I dry embossed the front of a top fold A2 cardbase using Convention coverplate die and foam mounted the Anemone Border on it.
The sentiment is from the Coming Up Peruvian Lilies stamp set. I heat embossed it in gold and cut using the coordinating die. I finished off the card with a few Sky Blue Opaque rhinestones which have blue and purple shine – perfect for my anemones 🙂 !
Please stop by The Flower Challenge blog to see the inspiration cards from our guest Christine L from CardsByChristine and my talented team mates!
Hope you’ll join us!
Thank you so much for looking!

These anemones are gorgeous TaeEun and I love the blue and purple and the gold embossing makes them stand out so prettily, and love the background detail using a coverplate die to dry emboss with and finished with a lovely gold sentiment and added blue rhinestones. x
TaeEun, your water coloring of the anemones is beyond stunning! The blue and orchid colors are so vibrant and mixed together in a wonderful fashion. Gorgeous!
