Hello everyone!
Today is the first Seize the Birthday Thursday of March. The new Toppings option for the next fortnight is
DOTS AND STRIPES
But as always you may enter any birthday themed card into our gallery!
I’ve made a CAS card with a bouquet of dotted and striped flowers 🙂 !!!
I started off by searching for some patterned papers in happy colors with dots and stripes from my stash. I then die cut the flowers and leaves using Layered Floral Elements Die set by Altenew from those patterned papers. I cut the base layers from some white cardstock and colored them using Copic markers.
I adhered the layers of the die cut elements and set them aside. To add more stripes I’ve made a small panel by adhering Rainbow Stripes washi tape by Altenew on some white cardstock.
I then assembled my card together. I adhered a panel of white linen cardstock by Ellen Hutson on a kraft cardbase and foam mounted the small striped panel on it. The sentiment from Message Me set by Clearly Besotted was stamped in black pigment ink on the white linen paper and clear heat embossed. I arranged my little bouquet on the striped panel and the card was finished!
