Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

The Pinkfresh Studio July 2026 Challenge starts today! The theme of this month’s challenge is Shades of Summer with a fresh and cheerful color palette.

For my card, I wanted to create a cool and refreshing summer look, so I chose the soda can image from the Sippable Scene product suite as the main focal point. I paired it with the wavy background stencil from the Fragrance Notes suite to enhance the summery feel, and added a few of the small floral images from the Fragrance Notes as delicate accents. I also followed the challenge color palette for the entire design.

To start, I die cut the soda can from white cardstock and colored it with the coordinating Sippable Scene stencils. I chose the sunset landscape design for the can and stenciled the mountains and the lake in Grassy Knoll, Olive, Eucalyptus and Waterfall. For the sun, I used Marigold and Clementine.

For the background, I stenciled the wavy pattern from the Frangrance Notes set using Sky blue, Mint, Waterfall and Aquamarine. To create a fuller and more dynamic look, I stenciled the pattern a second time after flipping the stencil over.

Next, I stamped the small floral images from the Fragrance Notes stamp set in Detail Black and colored them with the coordinating stencils. For the flowers, I used Apricot, Sparkling Rose, and Coral Reef. The flower centers were colored in Marigold, and the leaves in Waterfall and Grassy Knoll. Once the stenciling was finished, I die cut the flowers with the coordinating die.

To soften the busy background and help the focal image stand out, I cut a white mat for the soda can using the Nested Rectangles Postage Edge die.  I then stenciled the water splash in Waterfall using a stencil from the Sippable Scene set in the upper right corner of the rectangle panel.

The sentiment is from the Sippable Scene stamp set. I stamped it in Detail Black. die cut it, and stacked it with two additional die cut layers for dimension.

To assemble the card, I first adhered the background panel to a white cardbase. Then I foam mounted the postage rectangle panel in the center of the card. After that, I added the soda can at an angel using foam tape so the water splash looks as if it is bursting out from the can. Finally, I decorated the rectangle panel with three floral images, as shown in the picture.

To finish the card, I added the sentiment and a few Ice Clear Drops to the water splash for a fresh and playful touch.
